Congratulations! Today is the day you start working in Korea. Please show your boss and coworkers that you are polite and diligent.

Prepare before going to work

If you prepare in advance the day before your first day, you can start your work without confusion.

• Neat appearance: Wear clean clothes. If you work at a restaurant, trim your nails short and tie your hair if it is long.

• Bring necessary items: Be sure to prepare a small notebook and pen to write down what your boss tells you.

• Check the route: Check bus or subway times in advance so you won't be late. Check the shop location on the map once more.

• Practice greetings: Practice saying "Hello", "Thank you", and "Sorry" with a smile.

Contact before going to work

• Confirmation call/text: Contact them one day before or on the morning you start working.

• Arrive 10 minutes early: In Korea, it is good to arrive 10 minutes early before the appointment time.
