2026-04-24
Finished your exams, but where to go? A half-day healing course in Seoul for international students
After midterms or finals, don't you just want to get away both physically and mentally? 😢
But traveling far can often be too much in terms of time and money. At times like that, how about refreshing yourself with a half-day Seoul outing course easily accessible by subway? ✨
🌊 Spring picnic at Hangang Park
Don't you want to shake off your exam stress while gazing at the open Han River? All you need is some convenience store snacks and a picnic mat.

2026 Seoul Spring Festival: Held from April 10 to May 5, 2026.
Drone light show: Held at Ttukseom on April 25 and at Jamsil on May 5.
2026 Hangang Festival: Runs for 9 days from May 2 to May 10, 2026 at Yeouido, Banpo, and more.
👉 Enjoy Han River ramen and festivals at a low cost for perfect healing!
🌳 Seoul Forest, a downtown shelter perfect for walking anytime
If you want to clear your mind by quietly walking in nature, a forest stroll is the best. It's close to Seongsu-dong cafe street and very popular with international students!

Open 24 hours: The park itself is free to walk at any time.
Check operating hours: The Ecological Forest is open 05:30~21:30, the Insect Arboretum is open 10:00~17:00 (closed on Mondays).
Public transport recommended: Parking is limited, so please use the subway.
👉 Walking pretty forest paths and stopping by a cozy cafe will make your day perfect!
🌃 Namsan night walk, free and enjoyable
Worried about entrance fees while wanting to see Seoul's dazzling night? Try walking along the Namsan Park trails.

Free walk: There's no admission fee for Namsan Park, so you can enjoy the beautiful night view carefree.
Observatory is optional: If you want to go up Namsan Seoul Tower observatory, it's 21,000 KRW for ages 13 and up.
Operating hours: Observatory open weekdays 10:30~22:00, weekends and public holidays 10:00~23:00.
👉 Take in the cool night air and look out over sparkling Seoul — your stress will disappear!
🏛️ A quiet walk at Deoksugung and Jeongdong-gil
If you want to take pretty photos in a Korean atmosphere, I recommend a palace outing. It's a great course for a quiet walk.

Deoksugung viewing: For just 1,000 KRW admission, you can enjoy peaceful scenery; last admission at the main gate is 20:00.
Free museum at night: The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Deoksugung, is free on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 18:00 to 21:00.
👉 Walk the beautiful Jeongdong-gil and visit a free exhibition for a truly fulfilling outing!
In conclusion
✔️ Eat ramen at Hangang Park, enjoy the drone show and festivals
