⚾ Watching college student baseball live, just know this!
2026-05-15
I want to go to a baseball stadium with my Korean friends, but everything from ticket reservations to entry rules can be confusing, right? 😢
We've prepared a Seoul KBO game guide so that international students can easily and enjoyably experience Korea's chimaek (chicken and beer) and cheering culture.
With just this article, you can fully enjoy a day out at the baseball stadium! ✨
🏟️ Choosing a Stadium and Team
Worried it might rain or unsure which team to support?
There are two main baseball stadiums in Seoul.

Jamsil Baseball Stadium: With 24,411 seats, home to LG Twins and Doosan Bears.
Gocheok Sky Dome: Dome stadium with 16,601 seats, home of Kiwoom Heroes, safe even during rain forecasts.
👉 Pick a team and weather you like, then set your game day!
⏰ Reservation Sites and Times Differ by Team
It can be overwhelming not knowing where to buy baseball tickets.
The KBO official site only provides information, so be sure to check the reservation site for each team.

LG Twins: Tickets open on Ticketlink 7 days before the home game at 11:00 am.
Kiwoom Heroes: Tickets are available on Interpark/NOL Ticket from 2:00 pm, 7 days before the game.
Doosan Bears: Use Interpark/NOL Ticket, but each game may open at different times. Check the schedule.
👉 Checking your desired team's reservation site and opening time in advance increases your chances!
💸 Reservation Tips and Seats for International Students
Was it confusing not having a Korean phone number or not knowing which seats are good?
If it's your first visit, cheering section, outfield seats, or upper-level seats with a great atmosphere are recommended!

As of 2026, LG Green outfield seats are 10,000 KRW on weekdays, and Kiwoom outfield reserved seats are 9,000 KRW on weekdays, so it's affordable.
Ticketlink Global (1644-3850) offers English support, and if you don't have a Korean number, you can enter 01012345678.
For LG, you can use the on-site support desk for foreigners at Jamsil Baseball Stadium Box Office 3 with your passport.
👉 Use the reservation method that suits you best to secure your preferred seat!
🍗 Chimaek Allowed? Check Entry Rules
Want to enjoy cold beer and snacks at the stadium, but not sure what you're allowed to bring?
Chimaek is definitely allowed, but you must follow safety rules under the KBO SAFE campaign!

Glass bottles and PET/canned drinks over 1L are restricted.
For unopened drinks, each person may bring only one PET bottle or two cans.
Alcohol sales inside the stadium are limited to 2L per person, and may stop after the 8th inning.
👉 Enjoy the stadium more with light bags and permitted snacks!
🚇 Getting to the Stadium – Public Transit is Best!
Wondering whether to drive or take the subway?
On game days, parking at Seoul ballparks is very difficult, so we recommend the subway as your main route.

Jamsil Stadium lost about 680 parking spots due to Olympic Stadium remodeling.
Gocheok Sky Dome also restricts parking during pro baseball games.
Gocheok Sky Dome is just a 3-minute walk from Line 1 Guroil Station Exit 2, making public transit very convenient.
👉 Ride the subway comfortably and experience the excitement of the vibrant baseball stadium!
In Conclusion
✔️ Check in advance your preferred stadium and team's ticket site and reservation opening time—Jamsil (LG/Doosan) or Gocheok (Kiwoom).
✔️ Make full use of foreigner-friendly services like Ticketlink Global or LG onsite digital counters.
✔️ Follow entry rules like glass bottle limits and only two unopened cans per person, and be sure to use public transit.
We truly hope your first KBO game in Seoul becomes an unforgettable and joyful memory! ⚾✨
